The New Banger
Do not think that you would get a good new manga every year.
Multiple reasons could explain that. Let’s take shonen as example. Finally, If there are so much shonen launched every year, it is because they desperately try to find a new Dragon Ball, a new Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, a new One Piece. But it is not happening, mostly because despite manga magazine editors find talented mangaka every day, it is not because you are talented that you will create a successful manga. It will remind you that a good manga look like an ufo. It is weird, it is not the best drawing, the story is blurry but the atmosphere is unique. There is no world without an atmosphere. There is nothing more difficult than create an atmosphere so it is easy to understand why good mangas are quite rare. The atmosphere a work of art exudes is the one piece they are all looking for.
