The New Banger
Do not think that you would get a good new manga every year.
Multiple reasons could explain that. Let’s take shonen as example. First, you are growing old so even if you do not noticed, the more time pass, the more you become more accustomed to the bullshit so you ain’t buy a new copycat manga even if it is trending every week on Twitter. To the point that Gojo death spoiler alert could ruin your reading as it did to anyone reading Jujutsu Kaisen online.
Then, notwithstanding Ai progressed so that it could write you a book, a memoire or maybe this article, there is no semantic formula to create a good shonen.
Finally, If there are so much shonen launched every year, it is because they desperately try to find a new Dragon Ball, a new Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, a new One Piece. But it is not happening, mostly because despite manga magazine editors find talented mangaka every day, it is not because you are talented that you will create a successful manga. Ask Black Torch mangaka, Takaki Tsuyoshi if you do not believe us.

But from times to times, after hours wasted reading bad readings, you would be delight by Kara no Kioku.
It will remind you that a good manga look like an ufo. It is weird, it is not the best drawing, the story is blurry but the atmosphere is unique. There is no world without an atmosphere. There is nothing more difficult than create an atmosphere so it is easy to understand why good mangas are quite rare. The atmosphere a work of art exudes is the one piece they are all looking for.
