What is Dragon Ball Daima?

We were not a manga magazine that served Miso soup to publishers: if we like the manga, we like it; if we do not like it, we do not like it. As a fan of Dragon Ball and then Dragon Ball Z from the start, I have never hidden the fact that I was not a fan of the Majin Buu/Babidi/Buu arc. It was the arc of too much, the arc of the indigestion of this consumer society that consumes until its stomach bursts. But at least it was written by Akira Toriyama, unlike Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super, which I hated. In GT and Super, all the charm of the characters, the finesse of the writing and Toriyama's humour were absent and it was obvious.
The True Sequel
You cannot pay me enough to say that Dragon Ball Super is great. You do not need to pay me to say what I think of the latest Dragon Ball Daima arc. Daima is everything GT and Super never were, a true sequel written by the master Akira Toriyama. It is his testament, his final touch, his writing workshop, his gas factory that makes dream characters, dragonballsque characters, all endearing and all different from each other. I could start to describe this or that character, or say what I like about Glorio or Dr Arinsu, but the gift packet is so well wrapped that I cannot see myself unwrapping it for you. Daima is Akira Toriyama's testament, a jewel of chiselled writing that shows the new generation of mangaka how to give meaning to a work. Thank you Sensei!
I'm currently working on a new Dragon Ball.
The title is "Dragon Ball DAIMA".
"DAIMA" is a made-up term, which in Japanese characters would be "大魔" or in English would be something like "Evil."
Due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends are turned small.
In order to fix things, they'll head off to a new world!
It's a grand adventure with intense action in an unknown and mysterious world.
Since Goku has to make up for his petite size, he uses his Nyoibo (Power Pole) to fight, something not seen in a long time.
I came up with the story and settings, as well as a lot of the designs.
I'm actually putting a lot more into this than usual!
Things will unfold that close in on the mysteries of the Dragon Ball world.
