Today, we are going to tell you a story you won't believe. Indeed, in this manga by Tatsu Yukinobu, a ghost fought against 3 aliens. Nobody knows if the aliens believed in the existence of ghosts before this event happened.
Reality without borders
When we see all the theories that flourish on the web, theories that are all more smoky than the others, we remember that this movement was initiated by the Roswell affair, a hoax amplified by the success of the US series "X-Files" and its credits that, at the end, told us that we are not alone. It was shown every Friday on M6 (a French national broadcaster) from 1993 onwards, so every Friday I was afraid of being abducted by aliens who, despite the curtains being drawn and the lights turned off, could see that I was watching the X-Files on my little TV in my room.
I used to have nightmares where I was being chased by 3 meter long Roswells, Roswells that ran without making the slightest noise, their faces inexpressive, their eyes bulging, their mouths thin from which no breath escaped. We debriefed the episode the next day at school with those who had survived the night, the others had been sucked in by the first conspiracy websites that gave them the impression of knowing more than the others. They snubbed us on Monday mornings, sincerely thinking they were smarter than the science teacher.
To which I replied, "Leave me alone. I don't want to hear about Area 51, about Russians doing radioactive shots, about failed experiments and diseases that, in great strides, escaped from a test tube in order to divide the world's population in two because there would be too many of us on Earth. Go take a ride on a flat Earth to see if there are dragons underneath."
The Exorcist X Predator 2
Dandadan is the union of the carp and the rabbit, a young girl and a young man that everything separates who, by trying to prove to each other that ghosts and aliens do not exist, manage to prove that they do in fact exist. She and he who combine in a supernatural way until the early morning. She is Ayase Momo-san, a young high school girl who dreams of finding a guy who looks like Takakura Ken, the Japanese Clint Eastwood. Her grandmother is a fortune teller who looks like a GILF which gives her a huge doujinshi ecchi & hentai potential.
This is enough to overshadow our young woman who sees ghosts but does not believe in the existence of aliens. He is the opposite. This young man, whom Arase-san prefers to call Okurun rather than by his real name otherwise it breaks his delirium, did not believe in the possibility that ghosts can interact with living beings. By a combination of circumstances that we can not deflower you, Ayase challenged him to survive the Curse of Grandmother Turbo while she will have to go to a famous UFO spot, to note their existence and then to flee while avoiding being kidnapped. The two stay in touch via their smartphones to keep each other updated on the situation.
He, the rational being who believes in the existence of UFOs, finds himself in a tunnel facing the ghost of Grandma Turbo who wants to suck his dick. Uh, sorry? Madam, leave me alone my dick stays in my underpants unless I want to pee. Ayase then explains to him that according to the legend, if Grandma Turbo beats you in the race, you will be cursed and possessed by this sordid Grandma Yokai. Of course, he loses the race because he started running before he knew he shouldn't have run. Now the Yokai possesses him and keeps his dick in his pocket until the curse is lifted.
During this time, Ayase finds himself in front of 3 aliens who will remind you of Gantz. These latter explain to him that coming from a planet where there are only male aliens, they need his services in order to procreate. The problem is that they can't make love without ripping out the reproductive organs of the young women they abduct. That kind of excuse to beat the crap out of people. While Ayase seemed to be at the mercy of this trio with telescopic sexes, Okurun possessed by the Yokai comes out of the screen of the young woman's smartphone in order to help her.
Could I Give My Opinion ?/.
We literally fell in love with this manga that we discovered while being yelled at on a Reddit page. To succeed in telling an original story based on seen and reviewed themes like Yokai and aliens is not an easy thing. But Tatsu Yukinobu manages to link these two worlds in a clever way by constantly referring to the codes of the fans of these two themes by caricaturing them. The story is well done but what can we say about the graphic style of this mangaka except that it is just fabulous and of a crazy depth. It must be said that this mangaka does not come from nowhere because he was the assistant of sure values like Kaku Yuji, author of Jigokuraku or Fujimoto Tatsuki to whom we owe Fire Punch and especially Chainsaw Man about which we spoke to you here. This lets us foresee a bright future for this manga published by Sueisha on the Shonen Jump +.
Will they manage to lift the curse of the grandmother Turbo?
